スマブラ4後期からオフ大戦に参加し始める。初めてのウメブラは2017年3月のウメブラ26。いきなり予選を突破する才能の片鱗を見せる。しかし1回戦で敗れ65th。
2017年5月にはウメブラJapanMajorに参加。ここでは強豪メタナイト使いのゴブを破っている。しかしガチ部屋最強の男れあと中部のドンあーすに敗れ65th。
ウメブラ27では予選落ちしてしまいBクラストーナメントに。しかしBクラスでは準優勝。ウメブラ28では33rdで自己ベストを更新する。
2017年8月に小さめの大会ではあるが、ライトニングいがらし主催の大会で優勝。ここでは日本トップクラスのプレイヤーのちょこやEimに勝利しており、ザクレイが並外れた才能を持っていることを予感させた。
2017年12月の闘龍門17ではかめめやkeptなどを破り9th。ここから徐々に上位勢を食っていき成績が上がり始める。同月のウメブラTATではマンガリッツァ♀(現akasa)、きしゃ、HIKARUなどを破り9th。大規模大会で初めて1桁に入る。
2018年2月、ニコニコ闘会議2018東日本予選Day2に参加する。ここではうめき、たけら、つー、ライトなどの錚々たるメンツを破り準優勝。最終決戦で関東の古豪シュウに惜しくも敗れた。
2018年4月にはクロブラ9で優勝。決勝で強豪ロゼッタ使いゆずを破る。
2018年6～7月にかけては平日大会のWeekly Smash Party〜スマパ！～で3連覇。この中でキリハラゴッドや強豪ゼロサム使いshkyを下している。安定した成績を残すようになり、もやはザクレイの強さを疑うものは誰もいなくなった。
2018年8月には関西に遠征しスマバト27に参加。日本最強プレイヤー、KENを下しての文句なしの優勝。同月のウメブラ33では3位。
2018年10月のスマブラ4最後のスマバト、スマバトFinalではKEN、Atelier 、そめ 、HIKARUを破り優勝。日本ではほぼ敵なし状態となる。
2018年12月のウメブラFINALでは17th。強豪リトルマック使いのたらことりに番狂わせを起こされてしまった。
スマブラSP
スマブラSPではウルフメイン。
発売一週間後の2018年12月に行われたウメブラSPに参加。かめめロックマンに敗れ9th。平日大会のWeekly Smash Party ～スマパ！～の17～19を3連覇。
そして2019年1月に行われたスマバトSPで優勝。 勝者側でおいしいとうふゲッコウガに敗れるも、敗者側では見事な対応を見せリベンジ。そのままグランドファイナルではてぃーパックマンを下し優勝。敗者側のザクレイのプレイは圧倒的な内容で、だれも勝てる雰囲気を感じさせなかった。
その翌週、ウメブラSP2で圧倒的な内容で優勝する。大会を通して奪われたゲームはわずかに2ゲームである。
2019年2月、スマブラSP初のスーパーメジャー大会、GENESIS6に参戦。2000人以上が参加する過酷なトーナメントの中、日本人で唯一勝者側でTOP8に残る。勝者側ではVoidピチューとフルセット、ラストヒットまでもつれ込む接戦の末敗れる。敗者側でも同様な内容でDabuzピクオリに敗れ、5thの結果に。海外初参戦でTOP8に入り、当時16歳のザクレイは世界に衝撃を与えた。
2019年3月にはSmash Ultimate Summitに日本人で唯一招待され参加する。シングルスでは5thの好成績を残した。
2019年4月、 2GG: Prime Sagaに出場して準優勝。勝者側を優勝し、優勝まであと一歩のところまで来たが、最後は敗者側から上がってきたしゅーとんにリベンジを許してしまった。

基本的に非常に丁寧な立ち回りで、相手をよく見ているプレイヤー。2001年生まれの若いプレイヤーとは思えないほど冷静な立ち回りを見せる。その丁寧な立ち回りの中でも、最大リターンの判断と一点読みのセンスが冴えるプレイヤー。あのMkLeoを彷彿させるプレイスタイルだ。
